Posted on: 3/03/2021RAPID LATERAL FLOW TESTING FOR HOUSEHOLDSAbout 1 in 3 people with coronavirus do not have symptoms but can still pass it on to others. Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the virus spreading and protect your loved ones. As lockdown restrictions gradually ease we all need to play our part to help protect each other. Whole families and households with primary school, secondary school and college age children, including childcare and support bubbles, will be able to test themselves twice every week from home as schools return from 8 March. Primary school pupils will not be asked to test at this time. More information on how families can order tests for collection or home delivery can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/rapid-lateral-flow-testing-for-households-and-bubbles-of-school-pupils-and-staff PLEASE NOTE: HOME TEST KITS FOR HOUSEHOLDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO COLLECT FROM SCHOOL.

From 8 March, all pupils should attend school. Much of the latest DfE guidance for schools replicates what was in place for the autumn term which means that the control measures that will remain in place in school will be familiar to parents and pupils.
